Arket opens in Chelsea with King’s Road debut

H&M Group’s Arket is the latest new arrival in London’s Chelsea, specifically on the buoyant King’s Road.

The Nordic design and lifestyle brand opened its new store on Friday (26 September) at 196-222 King’s Road, with the space becoming the label’s fourth physical destination in the UK capital, following Regent Street, Covent Garden and its Selfridges concession.

With a sizeable total area of 521 square metres, the store is arranged over two levels, combining Arket’s signature monochrome palette of soft greys and natural materials, including custom-made terrazzo flooring, oak interiors and lush greenery.

The King’s Road store will offer a curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, childrenswear, bodycare, and interiors products. 

The famous shopping thoroughfare is one of London’s key shopping districts, attracting a strong mix of affluent locals, commuters and tourists from both the UK and abroad.

The latest London debut comes in the same month that Arket entered the Irish market with a physical presence for the first time, opening its new Dublin space at 60 Dawson Street in the heart of the city.
