Dr. Maira
I am a GMC-regulated Physician Associate with an Integrated Master’s degree in Physician Associate Studies from the University of Central Lancashire. Over the past four years, I have gained extensive clinical experience working in General Practice, where I developed a strong foundation in patient care, diagnosis, and management. My background in primary care has given me a holistic understanding of health, with a particular interest in women’s health and how hormonal changes can influence skin, wellbeing, and the ageing process.
In addition to my work in General Practice, I have been building a career in aesthetics for the past year, specialising in advanced non-surgical treatments such as PRP therapy (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and microneedling. These evidence-based treatments are designed to stimulate natural healing, collagen production, and skin regeneration, making them highly effective for concerns such as fine lines, scarring, hair restoration, and overall skin rejuvenation.
To ensure I remain at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, I have completed a wide range of CPD-accredited training courses in areas including skin health, anti-aging treatments, and bioactive skincare. I am passionate about using science-backed methods to deliver safe, tailored treatments that not only enhance appearance but also support long-term skin health and confidence.
My clinical interests lie in women’s health, bioactive skincare, skin rejuvenation, anti-aging treatments, and menopause support. I believe in a patient-centred approach, where each treatment plan is customised to address individual goals, whether that’s restoring skin vitality, reducing the visible signs of aging, or improving overall wellbeing.
With my dual background in General Practice and aesthetics, I combine medical expertise with an artistic eye for detail to deliver results that are both natural and effective. My priority is always patient safety, ethical practice, and helping clients feel confident in their skin at every stage of life.
