Cause

Eyelid ptosis, also known as drooping eyelid, can occur as a potential side effect of certain cosmetic treatments that involve the use of neuromodulators like Botox, Azzalure, or Bocouture. These substances contain botulinum toxin type A, which is used to temporarily relax muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. However, when not administered properly, these treatments can lead to unintended effects, including eyelid ptosis.
